We are proud to announce that TechLab has been approved by the IEC's (International Electrotechnical Commission) IECEx System as the first Brazilian laboratory for the testing of instrumentation, automation, telecommunications, and electrical 'Ex' equipment.
Brazil is a participating country of the IECEx, possessing Brazilian 'Ex' Certification Bodies (ExCB) already recognized by the IECEx for certification of 'Ex' equipment, certification of 'Ex' personnel competence, and certification of 'Ex' service companies.
This approval contributes to a greater integration of national manufacturers of equipment operating in hazardous areas*, with risk of explosion, in obtaining certification within the IECEx System, aiming at the commercialization of their products not only in the national market.
